Who is this class for:
Hammerstone courses are open to all women and gender minorities. Hammerstone welcomes all trans folks including trans men. This course welcomes folks of all skill levels including complete beginners.

Description:
This is one of our most popular courses, so sign up early to reserve a spot.  We know what makes it a fave - you get to learn brand new skills and leave with a beautiful and functional piece of outdoor furniture.  The camaraderie of fellow students and instructors and the Finger Lakes setting (it’s not the Adirondacks, but a pretty close second) makes this two day course the perfect getaway.

The Adirondack chairs built in this class are constructed from locally sourced, naturally rot-resistant larch.  We have honed the design and believe this is the most comfortable Adirondack chair around.

“During breaks, students talked about how amazing it was to have a space just for trans and nonbinary folks...how they’d never really experienced that before. The conversations, the laughter, even the mechanics referrals… it felt l
